Intimate with Jesus

bride1Are you ready for even more intimacy with Jesus?

The cross has removed every obstacle and clothed us in white – we are the bride of Christ. We have oneness with him by the Spirit. That’s grace . (And…this is not just for the ladies – it’s OK guys you can handle this imagery too.)
Song of Songs 1:2-4 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth– for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the young women love you! Take me away with you–let us hurry! bride5Let the king bring me into his chambers. We rejoice and delight in you; we will praise your love more than wine. How right they are to adore you!
Rev 19:7-8 The marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Jesus is not just looking for us to know about him or just to have faith in him. He wants us to know that we are one with him, like a husband and wife. Intimate intertwined lives full of love, grace and safety as Jesus, our husband cares for us.

This is not talked about much, I think because men find the bride type imagery hard to relate to. But in fact it’s very similar to the picture the Scripture use of us, both men and women being son of God (Ro.8:17), something for the ladies to get their heads around.

(the fast link to this page is http://gracelovetruth.com/?p=1102)

In this time when there is an ever increasing rise of legalistic religions, the Holy Spirit is re-establishing the church in Jesus’ unique Gospel of Grace which Paul refers to in Acts 20:24.
For this purpose we are presenting this powerful eight part Bible based The Grace-Love- Truth Course that will revitalize your spiritual life and understanding of the good news of Jesus’ grace.

The purpose of the course is:

right1To change wrong beliefs that are barriers to intimacy with Jesus.
To emphasise the unique message of Christianity: Salvation and life through Jesus Christ, by grace and not by works.
To reveal Jesus’ finished work on the cross and what this means for us today.
To enable us to understand God’s amazing favour that is revealed in Jesus.
To establish us in our identity as beloved and blessed children of the “Abba” Father.
To empower us to live in God’s gift of grace, righteousness and  blessings.
To remove false teachings that make us feel unworthy and disqualified.

In 2005 Garry and Annette founded “Springside Place of Refuge and Safety”, a safe home for abused women and children. Garry handed over the leadership of OrphanAid and Springside to a local team of leaders in 2010. Garry is chairman of Heart to Heart International which is an NPO umbrella organization to a number of ministries. Garry is a trustee and teacher at Kloof Theological Centre whose aim is to provide solid Biblical teachings to the both the local and wider church. Garry and Annette are also involved in pastoring in a network of relational, small, simple, local churches. Garry and Annette also have a close association with Sarepta  Kloof. Since 2009 Garry has been involved in sharing the gospel with Muslims and helping encourage the persecuted church.
Garry and Annette are accountable to a group of other mature Christians from various church backgrounds, as well as the team which they are part of. They are also linked in with many local churches.
Garry and Annette have a passion for: Jesus and His kingdom, family, sharing the good news of Jesus’ grace, establishing believers in their identity as God’s beloved children, the empowering of the Holy Spirit, mission to the poor, needy and oppressed, authentic Christian community and church, the unity and rich diversity of the church, the breaking down of racial, cultural, denominational, educational & economic divides, raising up young leaders and using technology to share the good news.
Over the years God has blessed Garry and Annette in their business dealings and they have their own financial means of support.
Garry’s present calling and focus is to help establish the wider church in the gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ (Acts.20:24) and teach on how to practically live out the love and grace of God.

My sense today is that our loving Abba Father, wants us to know that He loves us, warts and all.

“I am Gods beloved & I choose to believe it.”
#Grace washed away every spot & blemish. He sees us as perfect in #Christ. Just as we see the innocent perfection of a new born babe & marvel- aaaaah!babe

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Col.1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

GRACE SEES WHAT IS POSITIVE & GOOD

Casting stones
Grace always see the best in people. Grace is prophetic in nature: Seeing who people for who they are and what they can become as beloved children of God.
Law on the other hand always finds fault and condemns. And Satan always accuses – his name means “Accuser”.
Remembering this, we must beware of fault finding, accusing  and judging (Rom.7:1) others. To do so would indicate that every area of our lives are perfect, spotless and totally open for inspection, and let’s be honest, who of us can claim that kind of righteousness and perfection except by the grace of God?
History has shown that the self righteous will always be put to the test and hypocrites are eventually exposed. Many preachers of judgment and condemnation have ended up doing the very things that they were quick to judge and condemn in other “sinners”.
Sometimes the fallen inclination remaining within our minds may cause us to point out others sins and faults instead of their righteousness in Christ – but we can resist doing this by renewing the way we think. We can ask the Holy Spirit to help us stop and instead show us the prophetic potential of each person and the positive things about them.
Jesus’ grace is the solution to all sin, not our law, judgment, anger, condemnation and exposure of others (Rom.6:14). If you know someone who is battling, instead of judging and condemning them why not come alongside them in prayer and love.
